AgilePoint Server is a powerful
XML-based and highly adaptive process engine that executes,
monitors, and controls business processes at run-time. This
powerful process engine enables users to automate and continually
improve business processes and to route information in accordance
with defined business rules.
Built to fully leverage the .NET Framework, AgilePoint Server
drastically simplifies the creation of .NET-connected BPM
applications using XML and Web services. To meet the most
demanding BPM applications, it uses the latest Microsoft App
Server technology and enterprise databases to provide scalability,
transactional integrity, security, multi-threading, and load
balancing. AgilePoint Server exposes a set of rich BPM services
that can be accessed through open APIs, Web Services, Messaging
Queues, and COM.

It is fully compliant with the WfMC (Workflow Management
Coalition) standard to support sophisticated workflow
elements including looping, branching, parallel processing,
and embedded sub-flows. In addition, its XML architecture

BPEL, etc.
