Key features of AgilePoint Server include:

1. Industry Process Modeling Standard Compliant
It is fully compliant with the WfMC (Workflow Management Coalition) standard to support sophisticated workflow elements including looping, branching, parallel processing, and embedded sub-flows. In addition, its XML architecture enables it to interoperate with other standards including BPEL, etc.

2. Process Template Versioning

It supports automated versioning of process models throughout their lifecycle from creation, to iterative check-in, check-out, release, and retirement.

3. Integration with LDAP/Windows Active Directory

It can be integrated into the enterprise infrastructure by leveraging the existing user and role management maintained in the local Windows environment, LDAP, custom or other compatible name/directory service.

4. Flexible Use as Embedded or Autonomous Workflow

It can be deployed standalone to orchestrate loose-coupled business processes across multiple applications or embedded into a software system as the in-application workflow component.

5. Highly Adaptive XML-Powered Architecture

Powered by a highly adaptive XML-based process automation engine, it makes rapid configuration of business processes possible, with little or no coding required.
