AgilePoint
for Microsoft InfoPath |
AgilePoint BPMS together with
Microsoft InfoPath and Form Server, provides business users with an extremely
productive, open environment to model, compose, simulate,
and enhance executable business processes that need to gather
and share information across multiple participants.
The combined solution enables process owners to easily design
human interface forms that are XML-based with virtually no
coding and serve as a lightweight way to put in and retrieve
information across multiple participants by utilizing collaborative
and shareable data stores. The resulting human interface forms
can be worked on off-line and routed throughout the progression
of the business process, making the InfoPath the perfect partner
for AgilePoint based BPM applications.

AgilePoint Envision, the Visio based process modeling environment,
provides the option of associating an InfoPath form with an
AgilePoint process model and visually binding different InfoPath
form views with the relevant activities to drive the system-to-human
and human-to-human process. This advancement heightens the
clarity and manageability of process model to a new level
to benefit time to market and lower costs.
Once an InfoPath form is associated with an AgilePoint process
model, it can be published to a SharePoint Portal Server and
trigger the AgilePoint process when the form is consumed.
AgilePoint’s out-of-the-box integrated task management
with SharePoint Portal provides process participants a convenient
way to interact through the Portal’s form collaboration.
The end result is a very powerful platform where AgilePoint
maintains your process. InfoPath maintains and structures
your data, SharePoint Portal is a task management hub, and
AgilePoint Envision keeps your business users' domain knowledge
at the very core of the process.
